This is a brief (~12-15 min) self-paced online learning module provides an orientation to GARE membership.  You'll learn different ways you can engage with the GARE Online Community, access resources based on experience and role, and also how you can contribute to the network of racial equity practitioners in government.

Welcome to the Government Alliance on Race and Equity (GARE)! We are excited to have you join our network of member jurisdictions, a community that includes tens of thousands of Racial Equity Practitioners across North America. In this course, we’ll cover how you can engage with the GARE Online Community and access resources.

After completing this course, you will understand:
1. How GARE membership supports you in advancing racial equity work.
2. What GARE tools and resources are available no matter what stage of the racial equity journey you and your jurisdiction are in.
3. How to access GARE resources based on experience and role.
